Katie Morphonios, BS
Katie Morphonios serves as the Data Analyst and Manager for the Safe Streets and Second Chances Initiative. With over ten years in the criminal justice field and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Katie possesses a dynamic skill set. While attending Florida State University, Katie began investigating missing persons cases in 2006 as an analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She also served as a liaison to the U.S. Department of State for international child abduction cases. In 2016, she obtained her Florida Crime Intelligence Analyst certification by writing an assessment paper that examined and provided a statistical analysis of the potential value of a unified law enforcement database of animal cruelty offenses and convicted offenders for the State of Florida. Before joining IJRD in May 2018, Ms. Morphonios analyzed digital forensic data from hundreds of cellular devices seized as contraband from Florida prisons in her position held at the Florida Department of Corrections.
