LaVonda Minter, MA
LaVonda Minter is a true visionary and realized her gift of helping would be fulfilled in mental health as her life purpose. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Minter’s clinical experience includes experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings to address substance use issues. She also has experience working with at-risk adolescents in group home settings and youth and families in crisis at family services agencies. Minter is passionate about her work at FSU and feels that the project mission aligns with her personal values to be of service to those in need in her community.
Minter’s holds a Bachelor of Science degree from William Carey University and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She also holds graduate certificates in Adventure-Based Counseling and serving as an Activities Director in geriatric care.
