Sheryl Johnson, LMHC, MCAP
Sheryl Johnson is a Reentry Program Specialist at the Institute for Justice Research and Development for the 5-Key Model Project, a project focusing on reversing mass incarceration in the United States. Ms. Johnson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Master level Certified Addiction Professional with ten years experience providing substance abuse treatment/counseling to the incarcerated in Florida. Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Marketing and a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked with both male and female populations at such organizations as River Region Matrix House, Shisa House East and Bridges of America. She has founded Recovery Counseling and More, a non-profit to work with those struggling with alcohol and stimulant use in the Jacksonville area with hopes of working with ex-offenders turn their lives around within the next two years.
