Liz Rodriguez, MSW
Liz Rodriguez has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults on the US-Mexico border region where she provided case management services, facilitated mental health treatment, and volunteered with various organizations in El Paso, Texas. Rodriguez also has experience engaging with homeless, low-income, and mixed-migration-status families and advocates working to empowerer these communities. Rodriguez is passionate about investigating how institutional policies and structures influence people in their daily lives. As the daughter of immigrants, Rodriguez plans to expand her research skills to further influence policies that impact marginalized communities, including justice-involved adults and immigrants.
Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree, both from the University of Texas at El Paso.
