Sara Moegenburg, MSW
Sara Moegenburg spent two years with AmeriCorps VISTA, where she was placed with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. As an undergraduate student, she completed an internship with the National Association for Social Workers-Wisconsin where she advocated for smart criminal justice reform. Moegenburg completed a graduate-level internship at a residential alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility. In this role, she worked to personalize women’s treatment plans and ensure that their needs were met and their families could remain intact. She also supported women through the drug court experience and collaborated with the correctional team.
Moegenburg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin.
