Shonda Salisbury is a Research & Assessment Specialist on our Florida team. She has more than 10 years of experience working with children, adults, and family systems as a social worker. She has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through her work in corrections, child welfare, trauma counseling, crisis care, community outreach, and most recently long-term care. Salisbury is passionate about social justice and helping others overcome challenges, reach their maximum potential, and improve their overall quality of life holistically. She believes in the mission of IJRD and feels the value of the projects align with her own values and goals.
Salisbury holds an Associate of Science degree in Mental Health & Substance Abuse Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Capital University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Central Florida.
