Suzette "Sue" Robertson has relocated from Canada`s capital city of Ottawa to join our IJRD team as a Program Specialist located out of Jacksonville, Florida. She brings over 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health and substance use disorders. Robertson began her career working for the John Howard Society (JHS) of Durham Region - a Canadian organization that focuses its attention on addressing issues related to crime and prison reform. Following four years with JHS, Robertson worked in various capacities with the City of Ottawa-Social Services Branch. She feels privileged to have had the opportunities to acquire knowledge over the years working in social assistance offices, shelters (men, women, youth, and domestic violence), hospitals, transition homes, treatment facilities, and prisons. Robertson is passionate about addressing issues related to crime and prison reform and is honored to work with IJRD to achieve these goals.
