We search for innovative means to address the opioid crisis in both urban and rural areas and promote community well-being.

We have several proposals under development to explore and identify novel solutions to Florida's opioid crisis. One of our projects will closely examine the availability and accessibility of evidence-driven opioid use disorder treatment for individuals releasing from incarceration and into our rural counties. Another seeks to expand evidence-driven medication assisted treatment options in rural communities using mobile service delivery and multidisciplinary teams to address individuals' physical, mental, and emotional health needs.
