Elizabeth Crowley

Elizabeth Crowley joins the Institute for Justice Research and Development as a Research & Assessment Specialist. Elizabeth's interest in criminal justice issues developed from her interest in human rights and experience with the Innocence Project of Florida. She is passionate about advancing human rights, criminal justice reform, and the interplay between socioenvironmental factors and conflict. She first began working with the IJRD as an intern in 2024 and will graduate with her Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 2025. Elizabeth received dual bachelor’s degrees from FSU in International Affairs and Anthropology with a minor in Spanish and concentrations in Cultural Anthropology, History, and Political Science.
