Elizabeth Curley, MSW
Elizabeth Curley is a doctoral student at Florida State University's College of Social Work. Her interest in criminal justice issues blossomed while working with individuals who were court-mandated to complete substance use treatment. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Elizabeth embraced her passion and worked for an agency that conducted a prison visitation program that promoted quality bonding between children and their loved ones in correctional facilities across the state. IJRD's ambitious and progressive work with criminal justice research motivated Elizabeth to pursue her doctorate at Florida State University in hopes of supporting criminal justice reform through research and personal advocacy.
