Kayla Williams, MSW

Kayla Williams is an MSW intern working with IJRD's community partners. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Florida State University. Kayla has worked with children in various settings, including as a counselor at a grief camp and as a research assistant in a lab studying ADHD and non-pharmaceutical interventions. She has also volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Project, supporting individuals and families affected by dementia. Kayla is passionate about working with individuals who have been or are currently incarcerated. She believes in being a part of creating change within the criminal justice system and serving as an advocate for those navigating reentry and systemic barriers.
